AI Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

ContentIQ generates written content using AI. This page sets out what the tool is for, what it is not for, and where responsibility sits.

Your content is yours, and so is the decision to publish it

You own the articles you generate. You are responsible for what you do with them.

ContentIQ verifies that every factual claim in your article traces to a real source that supports it. That is a meaningful safeguard and it is not a guarantee of truth. A source can be wrong. A claim can be accurate and still be a poor fit for your audience, your market, or your legal position. Read the article and check the sources before you publish. We provide the sources panel precisely so that you can.

What you may not use ContentIQ for

  • Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights
  • Impersonating a person or organisation, or presenting generated content as the work of someone who did not write it
  • Deliberately deceptive material, including fabricated news, disinformation, or manufactured claims about a person or company
  • Bulk generation of low-value pages intended to manipulate search rankings
  • Medical, legal, or financial advice presented as professional guidance
  • Sexual content, content involving minors, or content promoting self-harm, violence, or extremism
  • Circumventing the service: automated or scripted access, reselling access, or reverse-engineering the pipeline

Fair use on unlimited plans

The Studio plan includes unlimited articles for normal individual and team use. Unlimited means we do not count your articles, not that the plan is a bulk content API. Each article costs real money to produce. If usage is automated, scripted, or so far outside normal patterns that it looks like resale rather than use, we will contact you to discuss it before taking any action.

Accuracy and limitations

AI writing tools make mistakes. ContentIQ is engineered to reduce a specific class of mistake, inventing facts, and it does that well. It cannot judge whether an argument serves your business, whether a source is credible, or whether a claim is legally safe for you to make. Those are your calls.

Enforcement

If we believe an account is being used in breach of this policy we will contact the account holder. In cases of serious or repeated breach, we may suspend or terminate access.
